Knit Socks Two at a Time



Learn how to get started knitting socks two at a time using the Magic Loop method, two ways! This class is perfect for those wanting to experience a sock knitting technique that creates two socks at once. Starting with the cast on, you will learn how to join the round on two independent socks, as well as learn two different methods for Magic Loop knitting. Separation for the heel turn will be demonstrated only. Knit Sisu's The Easy Sock pattern will be provided.

Materials to bring from home or buy:
  • Fingering weight yarn: Two balls wound (one skein divided and wound into two balls) or one ball wound with ability to pull working yarn from the outside and the middle.
  • 1.5US (2.5mm) needles with 40-60" cord or 2 separate 1.5US (2.5mm) needles with 24-32" cord.
