Cityscape Hat
Ready to level up your basic knitting skills? The Cityscape Hat will get you there. This hat is one pattern in a matching accessory collection (hat, cowl, fingerless mitts) by Tori Yu. It's knit from the bottom up with a folded, cabled brim and a 2x2 ribbed body. In this two-part series, you will learn to join and knit in the round and use three different cable techniques. You will also learn to use double pointed needles (DPNs) and the necessary decreases to maintain the 2x2 ribbed body at the top of the hat.
Materials to bring or for purchase:
- Purchase a copy of the pattern here
- DK weight yarn: 160-220 yards depending on size knitted
- Size 4 US 16" circular needles and size 4 US DPNs
- Cable needle
- Stitch markers
