Building Blocks is a year-long project designed to build your knitting skills, block-by-block, and sequentially. At the end of the series, you’ll have twelve squares to assemble into a sampler afghan, baby blanket, or pillows. Each month (second Tuesday of every month), Rachel will teach a 90-minute class in which you'll start the month’s block together and learn how to implement the technique. You’ll then finish on your own. We will skip one simple block early on so we have a session to cover putting the blanket together.

• Purchase and download the pattern here
• 1,400 yards of aran or worsted weight yarn is required for all twelve squares.
  • Aran weight makes approximately 12” x 12” squares. Worsted would be a little smaller.
  • You can knit all squares in the same color or different colors. You decide!
  • Yarn does not have to be purchased all at once. Just have yarn ready for each square each month.
• Size 10 US circular needles for aran or size 8 US circular needles for worsted, minimum 24” length.
