Sweet Seamless Toys the Cinthia Vallet Way

As the holiday season approaches, so does the opportunity for handmade toys! Learn to knit cute bears, bunnies, and beasties the seamless, joyful Cinthia Vallet way: by “growing” these little creatures from the nose down. In this four-part class, Stephanie will guide you in the creation of your very own Tsutsu Bear, with the option to make a fingering or DK size. This pattern will prepare you for making any of Cinthia’s other creations, including the toys introduced in her 2023 book Mouche and Friends. You will leave class with a finished toy ready to gift (or snuggle yourself).

Skill Level:
intermediate
Materials Included:
No
Requirements:
This is an intermediate class: you should know how to cast on, knit in the round, use DPNs, increase, and decrease. You should also be comfortable working small circumferences in the round--what we're working on will be even smaller than fingering weight socks or baby sweater sleeves, especially if you opt for the fingering weight bear! Knowing short rows is a plus, but we'll go over how to do those.
