A huge Thank You to the Phillips Collection for partnering with us for the Valentines Day Super Secret Yarn Bombing event as well as more huge thank yous' to the many knitters and crocheters that participated in creating such an amazing happening!
We were mentioned on the Washington Post Local Online, ABC7 Online, NBC Online, CBS DC Online, WTOP Online as well as NPR this morning!

On Monday, February 13th, knitters and crocheters are invited to stop by Looped Yarn Works between 5–9 pm to celebrate Valentine’s Day and the opening of Alyson Shotz’s Intersections project at The Phillips Collection. Knit hearts at Looped, and then help us yarn bomb Dupont at 9 pm! You bring the needles, we’ll bring the patterns. Bring your own yarn, or get a 15% discount when you purchase yarn for the yarn bombing at Looped. All experience levels are welcome. Free and open to the public.
If you’re unable to join us for the event and would like to contribtue, create as many hearts in the pattern of your choice as you please and drop them off or send them to us by February 13th.

Manos del Uruguay Maxima

We've just recieved our first shipment of Manos del Uruguay's Maxima. This is a truly beautiful yarn, a single-ply merino in gorgeous kettle dyed colors. It's soft and lush and we just love it!
We have also just gotten in another shipment of Rowans' Kidsilk Creation! it just flew out of the shop last month- it's a spectaular, one skein project...perfect for Holiday gifts!
